I just think that the water coming in the engine bay would cause isses, or atleast make a mess of things. IDK, maybe I'm just a clean freak.

I do really appreciate and value your input so please dont think I do not. I will likely not drive in the rain but even still will probably seal up the scoop to make it a bubble.

Very nice! btw, you know the tires on your front wheels are mounted backwards right? Simple fix, swap the wheels around, I.E. left wheel goes on right and vice versa. Progress is always good. I'm curious to see how this beast handles when you get it all done. Keep up the hard work.

I have always wanted to do something like this. A monster engine in a small car. Good choice on the Starlet. Are you pulling the engine again to have the engine bay painted?
