Drop your rear tire pressure go with the 17s if those are your best option, up the front pressure. No one suggested dropping the front sway endlinks??? This requires some cautious practice as the car will handle completely different.

also if you change your gear ratios that would make a massive improvement.
but it costs a bit. all i would be doing if i were you is playing around with tyre pressures maybe even use some good high performance tyres and just work on your reaction times, launches, shifts.and work on your optimum rpm range.

Make sure to put a good Clutch in the car . 6 puck minimum for Drag Radials. Stock will not hold up no matter what tranny. I had a 6 puck with my stock pressure plate then i went ACT. Stock Disk is fine for street radials but not drag radials. Also a THREE IN. Exhaust BIG DIFFRENCE. FYI Call me

ok it would be quick off the line with that diff ratio what tyes are you going to run? but the sounds of it you might get a bit of wheelspin in first and a churp in 2nd. post up some vids of your runs im interested to see how it goes.

How much lower of a rear end do you need? 4.33 LSD is pretty low. You'll be shifting gears so fast that it will actually slow you down unless you start in 2nd gear. I really wouldn't change the gears.

i never said anything about changing to a lower gear ratio, sette prolly thought that i had a factory turbo rear end and i just stated that i already have the 4.30's

Maybe the $150 bet should have been for you to have it running for longer than 1 week ;)

lol....OUCH!

Get it running, no need to "break in gasket" if that's all you're replacing.

Will await results soon. :icon_bigg

spray 150 and get the guy to bet you 500 you can't go faster than a 13.0

If you can drive and have/can borrow a kit, you can go probably pretty low 12s.
