Full time work + university night school courses + car being far from where I live (cant keep supra at my condo's parking garage) = no time for supra for 4 years. I litterally wake up, go to work, go to school, eat, sleep and repeat every day (7am to 10pm). And every weekend is spent...

Just when i thought the problems were over...

I had that problem a few times on my 89, it was always the dimmer switch. I must have gone through 4 switches, that car had alot of electrical issues..

I added two braces from the turbo flange to the head flange and I rotated the wastegate flange 90 degrees to fit my dump tube. I also welded a spacer onto the T4 flange to raise my turbo and to slightly turn it away from the engine as my compressor housing would not fit. I had/have the 1st...

Need a 45 degree weld on elbow.

I have one welded to my compressor housing but I have no idea where it came from....It is for sale too! (whole turbo) I thought atpturbo.com had them but all I see now is 90 degrees.

Took turbo apart What do you think?

Yes it does. Do you realize how fast that shaft rotates? 100 000+rpm

So they have a low compression engie with a M/T with ecu as well as a good compression engine with no M/T and ecu? Why not request the new engine and have them include the M/T and ecu from the other setup? I have been to their shop, they have tons of engines/trans/front clips lying around...

What you think of this muffler design ?

That looks nice, I was originally thinking of adding tips to the outlet like the stock muffler...

What you think of this muffler design ?

That will look really funny from behind and you will have terrible ground clearance. I wanted a stealthy stock look and searched for a long time to find the correct muffler. What I ended up getting was a streetpower muffler from Vibrant Performance. It has the stock look with the dual...

    mk4 wheels

The biggest factor that would make the price reasonable or outrageous is what tires are on the wheels. I got my TT wheels for $300 with no tires and then spent $1100 on GOOD tires.

easier to remove just motor or pull motor and trany together?

That depends if you have done either way before. It is probably quicker to pull both if you have never done it before but if you have pulled just the engine or just the trans before than it is quicker to pull it seperately. At least for me it is. If you will be pulling both at the same...

Would you/do you run made in china/taiwan car parts on your Supra?

I agree the quality control in third world countries is probably not up to par with what it is in America, but does anybody have documented statistics to prove this? Where can one find information about these "wholesale" manufacturers? I don't imagine they are ISO certified...?

    MKIV wheel tire sizes

All tires are slightly different so determne what brand and model tire you want and then check on the manufactures website for recomended size limitations. The tires I have on the MK4TT rears specify not to go any wider than 275 on a 9.5" wheel.

Found a Godfather supra... check it out *pics*

I believe the hinged plate mount is to get away from traffic cameras. Apparently in Japan they have the registration stickers on the front so speed radars use the front plate to get you. At speeds the wind causes the plate to tilt so the camera can't get a propper shot of the plate. At least...

Store supra for 3 years or part out?

Hey Manny, This is Adam not Mark, I am not sure what Mark's name is on here. My fiance has made me promise her that if I do sell this car now that once school is finished I have to get another supra or some form of project car. :icon_bigg This is how I am feeling right now. I WILL have...

Rear Tint Removal Insanity w/ Defrost

Why don't you bring the car to a place that installs tint on windows. I am sure they have a method of removing old tint and it would probably cost $100 or less.

Store supra for 3 years or part out?

I am still undecisive about this. In three years alot will change in terms of what parts are available for this car, every day there are new vendors offering parts. Currently alot of the parts I have are custom made so I can easily re-create what I have now at a later date. I do love the car...
