Any recommendations on rebuilt ct26s? Who to send it out to.. or if someone has a rebuilt one lying around.. ? The one that came with the engine is in pretty rough shape.
When it came back from the engine builders, they did a crappy job of painting the block. It was already assembled and I didn't want to waste time masking, so I just brushed it with por15. That stuff takes several days to dry, so it laid out pretty flat. Looks good.

Cam gears installed. There will probably be a couple other small pieces that i'll paint the same color. It will mostly be black with blue pearl and polished aluminum, though.
Last year I was collateral damage in a head-on collision and totaled my 1jz supra. got a whopping 1500 bucks for the car... obviously I kept the car. The build for the car can be found here http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?123400-89-1jz-swap.
I recently bought a new supra with a...
The three that are available are non turbo and I think they're automatic. The only thing is they are 86 and 87. As long as it bolts up and it gets me back on the road for now, I can live with that. I'm definitely not going to pay the 1700 for a new one, though..

Is everything interchangeable?
I'm pretty sure the front sub frames are different between the years due to the power steering and...
that's the first time i've seen that.. I still think I prefer the stock gauge style. there are very few things I would change on the mkiii.. and they would only be improvements, not dramatic changes.
that's probably what I'll end up doing as a temporary setup until I figure out something better.. I'm a little surprised there aren't many gauge pods on the market..
yeah, I'd like to be able to buy something instead of make one myself.. I've seen one for the MKIV that attaches to the side of the dash next to the climate control and all that.. I was actually looking for one that attaches to the plastic vent piece on the dash of the passenger side above the...
I had someone change my climate control to all blue leds a very long time ago, and now I forgot who that was.. I have another supra that I want to do that to and don't want to do it myself.
So, my question is: does anybody still do this?
