Its a 1uz from an SC400, but ya any of the lexus 400 cars. the swap is easy, and you can do anything to it that you can do to any other motor. and there is decent support for parts. check out www.uza70.com i sell everything needed to do the swap to a mk3 supra.

No it slides firmly onto the tube that is around the input shaft. normally the little spacers in the pics would be used but ill soon be supplying aluminum spacers that are the correct thickness.

you talk to me about an adaptor plate for $350

I have around 3grand in my supra Total Buying the car swapping in the 1uz, if i wanted a ls1 i would be only have saved half on the motor and have no car! Keep it toyota!!!!!!

I dont quite know yet, but im hopeing for around the $350 range, and the R154 plate will work the same way as the W58 plate, uses the 1uz bellhousing,

neither give your M bellhousing away you wont need it you use the 1uz bellhousing, the plate goes between the bellhousing and the trans

well if your starting with an NA mkiv theres really no reason you would have to change to the V160 unless your looking for insane power, the W58 is fine for a 1uz with even boltons and even some boost.

I havent really followed Mkiv swaps too much but ill pay more attention now that its becomming important to me.

I trust the W58 over the R154 by a long shot, the R154 might be rated higher and be put on the slightly more powerfull car but the R154 has fatel flaws in its design witch makes it fail prematurally, along with that it costs 14times as much to replace, $50 vs $700 Ive yet to blow up a W on my...

Very soon, on the R154 adaptors, It took about 3 days to perfect the W adaptor, The R154 adaptor is next on the the list. and the flywheel is next after the R154. Im thinking about 2-3 weeks to be conservitive for both.
