Tried that, it's not the cam that's in the way, its actually part of the head.
I'll try a deep socket thanx, but I think IJ is right, its a 12 point socket.
Ok, so I got ARP studs for my 89 turbo supra, and I can't get my tools in to tighten the nuts once they are on the studs in the head. The slot they go in to is too small for me to get any of my tools in to tighten the nuts.
Anybody have any suggestions on what type/brand of tools they used to...
He cant really do a BHG, he's in a 76 shop. so it can't machine the head or anything. But He's in Simi Valley on the corner of Los Angeles Avenue and Sycamore St.
Anybody know of a good mechanic close to 93063?
I need my MHG swapped in for my stocker. It's not blown, just going MHG. The place that I usually go to won't do aftermarket HG. And the only other trustworthy mechanic that I know of wants $600.
Also, I dont know anybody in my town with a...
full intake and exhaust (I recommend apexi or K&N) and whatever exhaust.
And after that, I'm going with the lex afm/550's mod with a s-afcII. and upgraded turbo.
haha.... thats just silly. Did you turn the knob the right way? My friend made the mistake. When we installed it, he did that, we waited like 20 mins and they still hadn't turned on, I turned it the other way and they came on.
I disagree.. I'm 100% happy with my FAL fans. I've got dual 220's. They were easy to intstall, and wire. And they turn on exactly when I want them too. The only time I've over-heated was when I blew my HG. Electric fans are awesome! and you don't have anoyying whoosh everytime you rev the engine.
I have that problem too I think. Its just a little puff of smoke sometimes right? In my case it IS oil leaking from the valve cover gaskets onto the exhaust manifold. I'm thinking a new valve cover gasket will fix the problem.
Nice, I like that one a lot!!! haha.
Thank you. Thats good knowledge to know. but Why wouldnt they just put the order on the coil pack the same as the firing order (or vice versa).
Yah, I dunno what happened, but I just went back to it with it in order of 1,6,3,4,2,5 and it somehow worked. I had it exactly the same as I had it before.
Ok, so I did another search on here and on SF and came up with two different answers. I got shaeff saying what I already have, which is 1,6,3,4,2,5. and somebody else saying 1,5,3,6,2,4
I've searched through two online manuals, and done a search on here.
I just replaced my spark plugs and wires and now the car won't start. I have the wires plugged in onto the distributor on top of the valve covers from going (from left to right) 1,6,3,4,2,5. is that the right order?
I...
YOu're just trying to remove ther p/s belt? there's just one nut on a "Y" sort of shaped adaptor with a slot in it next to the p/s pump. loosen it with a ratchet, and the belt should come loose.
