Thanks, I have read up on the mods to swap from odbI to odbII. I may just go ahead and do the swap odbI with the GeForce ECU since it should have fixed the lean spot the ODBI ecu is known for.

So I have a 2jz-gte from a 97 USDM supra to swap into my 89 MKIII. It didn't come with an ECU or harness so should I swap it in as an ODBI or ODBII. Need to make this decision before i get the harness made. Plans are to go single with 720 injectors on a VPC and SAFC looking for mid...

I work as an assembly tech building various machines and use helicoils all the times.. never any problems.. plus i have done it to two 7m engines

nothing wrong with bendix pads as i would recomend them over napa... Bendix does mosty OEM pads for audi, v/w, and european cars.. those cars being even worse about cheap pads making noise, you would have no problem with bendix Akebono is the OEM supplier for nissan, toyota, honda, acura...

This is a pic of my lever switch from Flaming River.. Its mounted under the rear STB and then the arm attached to it has been lengthened.. at the track i remove the rear licence plate and attach the arm in a hole i drilled in the back of the car..

I also think this is from fuel still burning in the exhaust causing the high post turbo readings. how rich is the car running..

ok..I think the car should always be the jza70(keeps it simple as everyone has access to it).. Only mods should be power and weight in the quick tune up.. this keeps it very simple and effective

Still don't have this Turbo A you guys keep talking about.. (take a pic) using the JZA70 .. The Toyota Supra 2.5 Twin turbo R.. untouched I just ran a 1'41.799 edit.. that dropped to a 1'41.621

I have an 89 white.. whitch has been repainted everything white.. all the trim.. all the moldings.... looks alot cleaner...

MKIV na wheels are 16's.. they fit ok.. with the offset in the front you have to adjust the steering stops so the wheel doesn't rub the control arm.. Its not very hard to do.. and they are still nice wheels 16x8 front and 16x9 rear if i remember right

The dealer wanted 300 for them???? thats crazy.... think i got mine for 30 a peice
