this isnt an ideal solution but the driftmotion afpr kit comes with a stainless return line that has a fitting that slides into the stock rubber hose after that fitting your talking about and totaly bypasses it. just a thought. other than that get out some vicegrips if the head is already stripped.
yeah it is a 2.5" inlet/outlet i have one in my basment i just went and checked. if you want ill sell you another one never used its just taking up space.
edit: mines an hks it looked like that one at first but the one shown in the picture has a longer flex section and bottle necks more.

everything ive read has said to just stick with stock cams so thats what ill do i guess.
supraguy- would it benefit me to upgrade to brian crower springs with the stock cams? would it be worth the time?

I'm rebuilding my 7m and just put new pistons,rings,bearings,hks mhg, arp everything and now im working on the head and decided i might as well put a set of cams in it.
does anyone have any experience with the brian crower 264 cams? would i need to upgrade my valves and/or springs...
ok thanks i will do that. another thing.. all my connecting rod bearings say std on them so im assuming somebody has replaced them already with a standard size set. am i going to run into any problems now with to much being taken off or anything?

thanks alot man, but my pistons/rods are already out of the block. is their a way i can measure the bearings without putting everything back in? and also the reason i didnt measure it with plastiguage when i was disassembling it is because i had read a few posts where people are saying not to...

here are 2 really bad pictures of the worst connecting rod bearing. can some one tell me if i should replace them? ill get some better ones up tommorow

hey i have another quick question.. i was looking at my crank today and the edges of it near the connecting rods have a blue shade to them. im assuming that means it has been over heated? should i try and find a new crank or will it be fine? ill try and get some pictures up tonight..

i wouldn't keep boosting if its turbo surge it's not good for your turbo. does it only happen at low boost? i have a tial 50mm and at really low boost it will give a light flutter. is yours adjustable? if it is i would try and adjust it so its open at idle then tighten it just enough so it stays...
