    What replacement turbo is best for me?

    I have a CT26 Driftmotion 57 trim turbo for sale with 1200 miles on it (all Garret internals) and Earls Braided Oil Lines for sale for $550 + shipping, if interested. I got 365HP and 525 Ft lbs of TQ out of this.

    The cruise indicator does come on, but i can not set my current speed or maintain that speed. It seems this happened after a AEM ECU install. Does Cruise have it's own ECU? Does it rely on the Engine ECU? Did i mis a connector under the dash somewhere? Any help is appreciated. - Mike

    I'm thinking you need to upload the firmware to the ecu - under ECU --> update ecu firmware - if that does not work call AEM.

    Funky C - I have the AEM twin fire CDI (part # 30=2821), and all of the wiring diagrams show connections to a ignitor. Besides that I have read in the forums that the stock ignitor calculates dwell and controls an output for the tach. Also could not find any wizard for ignitor in the aem sw. Thx

    Update your drivers for the usb -> serial cable - do you get any frameing errors on AEM connection screen? Also did you select your correct Com port in aem? if all of this does not work you may want to send back the ecu to aem for eval.

    Removing multiplex from 7MGTE for less than $200

    I have the same problem with the stock ignitor - looking to get IS300 coils and ditch the stock coil packs. Will the DH61 ignitor work with AEM CDI and the IS300 coil setup? Right now the stock ignitor is breaking up real bad when the boost kicks in, with or without the CDI connected. ~ Thanks

    I had the same problem - try this... go into control panel -> system -> hardware tab -> device manager -> ports (make sure your cable usb to serial) is connected then select your adapter -> then properties -> port settings - change bits per second to 11500 and the rest should be 8, none,1, none...
