I have a CT26 Driftmotion 57 trim turbo for sale with 1200 miles on it (all Garret internals) and Earls Braided Oil Lines for sale for $550 + shipping, if interested. I got 365HP and 525 Ft lbs of TQ out of this.
Update June 2013 - Removed the CT26 57Trim Turbo and installed a SP61GT (5862), removed all of the water cooling lines and an ATI super Damper. Took the car out to RDP Motorsports in Perry Ohio and got 490 HP / 670 Ft lbs of Torque out of this setup. Hit Fuel cut (because the single Walbro...
Just installed a ATI super damper and the factory 7m Crank bolt will not fit in the hub of the ATI?
The stock bolt has a big hub or flange that will not fit. Any suggestions???
or rather is this what ATI calls a Crank Hub??? See url.
Thanks ~ Mike...
Hi Looking to upgrade the CT-26 57 Trim I am running now.
Suggestions on what I can use and still keep the same Exh Manifold and aftermarket downpipe (same bolt pattern as stock)
Here is by buildpage =...
Update - Found a good tuner in Perry Ohio - Steve owner of RDP Motorsport
Got 360 HP at the wheels, 425 at the flywheel - not bad but the driftmotion 57trim turbo wastegate would not hold more than 13 psi before it started releasing. Also the BOV that DM sells (mock SSQV) is junk.
So looking...
thanks for the replies - i went thru the wiring diagrams and noted much of this info, still well put
the car is an 88 - guess i will do some more looking around - possibly the vacuum part of the cruise is bad or not working...
The cruise indicator does come on, but i can not set my current speed or maintain that speed. It seems this happened after a AEM ECU install.
Does Cruise have it's own ECU? Does it rely on the Engine ECU? Did i mis a connector under the dash somewhere?
Any help is appreciated. - Mike
Funky C - I have the AEM twin fire CDI (part # 30=2821), and all of the wiring diagrams show connections to a ignitor. Besides that I have read in the forums that the stock ignitor calculates dwell and controls an output for the tach. Also could not find any wizard for ignitor in the aem sw. Thx
Update your drivers for the usb -> serial cable - do you get any frameing errors on AEM connection screen? Also did you select your correct Com port in aem? if all of this does not work you may want to send back the ecu to aem for eval.
I have the same problem with the stock ignitor - looking to get IS300 coils and ditch the stock coil packs.
Will the DH61 ignitor work with AEM CDI and the IS300 coil setup?
Right now the stock ignitor is breaking up real bad when the boost kicks in, with or without the CDI connected. ~ Thanks
I had the same problem - try this... go into control panel -> system -> hardware tab -> device manager -> ports (make sure your cable usb to serial) is connected then select your adapter -> then properties -> port settings - change bits per second to 11500 and the rest should be 8, none,1, none...
Are you running an AEM standalone? Your breakup sounds like the famous 3K ignitor issues - do a search many different ways to fix this.
Are you running a CDI box? if so the CDI does not know how to deal with the stock coils (which have a diode in them).
The car dying when you clutch in is...
Hey Rich - Thanks for taking the time to build my 7m engine (mike from Cleveland) it runs like a top and can take all the boost I am sending to it.
Pics looks great!! Take care - hope all is well with you and yours.
