    3P's TCCS Disassembly/Analysis

Have you guys seen this? http://www.google.com/patents?id=kJQyAAAAEBAJ&zoom=4&dq=toyota%20karman%20vortex&pg=PA1#v=onepage&q=toyota%20karman%20vortex&f=false Some useful info on how a free running timer is used and stuff.. Interresting how the resulting value always comes out correct , well...

    3P's TCCS Disassembly/Analysis

Having grown up with a little bit of assembler on the c64 and amiga500,although on the c64 and in school it was'nt really assembler but machine code typed in by data statements, 68000assembler is really quite interresting too but as I remember, there were some pretty freakish god damn ways of...

    3P's TCCS Disassembly/Analysis

Could'nt spot any difference no, but some other person might have better luck :-P (I measured the voltage out from the ecu to the vsv while revving the engine.. ) so if I understood the translated datasheet, address 0x0 to 0x2f becomes external through address/data? Does that mean that ALL...

    3P's TCCS Disassembly/Analysis

I guess the really hard part is figuring out exactly how that logic works.. VHDL is cool.. I've been reading a book:"VHDL for dummies" .But simple l74-alike logic seems easy to implement in a vhdl. I did play around a little with quartus pro4, one could select four modes as I remember: C, vhdl...

    3P's TCCS Disassembly/Analysis

if sin1 is changed in 7mgte ecu it seems like egr operation is still there. it was kind of a longshot anyway that it might be the same but I just had to try.. I'm going to play aound with it a bit more, ran out of time today, fixing some other stuff on the car, trying to get the cruise control...

    3P's TCCS Disassembly/Analysis

True, true.. hmm time to start desoldering the cpu (with a pace sx-80 ;-) I don't trust hot air for that.. ) So what differences do we have left in ecu's? california ecu measures exhaust temp.. hmm anything else? THANKS!!!

    3P's TCCS Disassembly/Analysis

This is awesome, I was looking in my backup 7mgte m/t ecu and it seems SIN2 is connected to + via resistor R614 and R613 is missing and goes to gnd.. so it might be interresting to see what happens if R614 is removed and put in R613 (if SIN2 means the same thing in both ecu's)hopefully the code...

    home-brewed vf meter

Did this thing a while back on a lunchbreak at work. http://hem.bredband.net/nikwal/gauge.gif ,does'nt have to be as complicated as in my schematic though.. I use the same circuit for oil pressure..

    Best Piggyback

How true.. My local tuner is going to freak out when they see my diy safc :-D hmm anyway, My 5cents is ,go with something that goes on the injectors if you're going for much power (as I'm not)..

mark 2 supra with 7mgte swap

Did you say that you couldnt se any diagnostic lamp blink? It sould blink.. try measuring it directly at the ecu then.. just hook up a small lamp there or something. I'm thinking fuel cut might be lower due to a fault condition.. Also, it cant be wrong to keep an eye on Vf signal, just to se...

Looking for info to complete my diy safc.

Finished... does it look aaight? installed it in the car today, sort of permanently, still a thick layer of snow outside though and got no winter tyres... buääh 2% memory left for goodies ;-) ... [Edit] Making experimental MAP*RPM = flow conversion from mapsensor to...

idle issue. I'm clueless video attached

I hate to say it but since other things seems ok, did you try with another ecu? I'm thinking that if one step is not stepping, if its moved to another position it might start to turn. mayne even have to measure resistance of the valve from within the ecu to rule out everything in the wireing...

http://dsl.mine.nu/nafc.htm Contains pretty much all info needed to build it, if you think a bit for yourself and look in the datasheets.. I'm in the process of making a circuitboard layout in eagle.. Just realized I made a video a while ago.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aA23vuj1s2k...

    New MAFTPro 5.03 Install questions

p= u2 /r , so if there is 5V (i'm not saying that it is just IF), in 10ohm it will be 2.5W I=u/r , again IF 5V ,it'll be 0.5A, that seems like pretty high numbers for a sensor hehe.. Are you sure you dont mean 10k ? Also found this...

    Arp flywheel bolt question

If I remember correctly, thoose will fit the front brakes too only thing is when I stood there a month later, scraching my head thinking where the HELL did I put the bolts for the flywheels... so that was from a 4age, I always wondered where I got the extra bolts from..

    rod bearing = poop

Seems to me many people focus much on the crank, forgetting measuring the holes in the rods/block.. I almost got declared an idiot around here for correcting rondness on the engine, at least until I started and used the engine :-P.. Hmm ahh and also, goodson has stuff for building your own...

Maft-pro and boost cut issues (logs/settings/mods included)

I've been searching for that frequency(1500hz) for weeks, can't believe I missed it until now. That's great news beacuse at 1500 the accuracy of the timer creating the frequency is still very good..(made my own air flow bodger). I've set the cut to have some hystereis, so it comes on again at a...

Looking for info to complete my diy safc.

So it's winter here and sometimes too freezing cold to be in the garage(or I'm a bit weak heh) so I decided to do a little coding with a circuit named AtMega8, first I just measured rpm and the karman-vortex frequency from the lmm. Then it kind of evolved into a afc. Anyway, it's winter here...
