I appreciate all the compliments, it has been a very long road from faded paint and non turbo. I going to lower it as soon as possible but still i have so much more that i want to do to the car to make it one of the elite MK3's out there. I want to build much more respect for the supra but...
this is my 89 supra turbo 5spd targa. i have had the car for a while now and have done all the body work and paint myself. i am a certified auto body tech.
i cut out the center part of stock bumper and molded in the front license plate holder also i molded in the stock 3 piece wing. also put in...
I think it looks sweet cut out in the second pic b/c it gets rid of the theugly license plate indention.. if you did cut it just make sure to have straight lines and don't leave a jagged edge..thats my opinion!
I've Been Doing Bodywork For Six Years And Have Done Almost Everything And In My Opinion I Would Weld Them Up And Grind Smooth And Then Fill With Fiberglassed Reinforced Bondo(kittyhair). Fiberglass Is Waterproof So It Doesn't Absorb Water Like Bondo Does,so Bondo Is A Very Bad Idea To Wipe...
I put 5% on the back and 20% on all others and I haven't been pulled over for tint yet. But this one time I was being pulled over for what happened to be a noise violation b/c of my exhaust and barely could see the damn police lights through the back glass even with their bright ass spotlight...

yea it looks like that rock did a number on that rocker panel (ouch!!).
I would also recommend a studwelder myself but since you have holes already, you can use a pull handle with a hook on the end to put in the holes and work it out slowly so you don't rip the sheet metal. If not you can...
i've been using the black F-A-L's (2500cfm's)for awhile now and have had no problem with overheating whatsoever. And they do add alot of looks to the engine bay.
looks damn good!!! how did you mix your pearl when you painted your car?
(in the paint or in with the clear?) the pearl really shows up in the sun well.
I've got a 3 inch ractive on my 89 turbo and its sounds damn good to me and everyone thats heard it. Also magnaflow mufflers sound very sweet kinda like a ractive and they are both deep sounding. But i guess thats just my opinion.
yea ken, we did a sweet ass job but we have alot of hard work that still needs to be done. it will be more than worth it with the finished product.
JACKSON,TN SUPRAS BABY!!!!!
