Cool. I couldn't remember if the physical plugs were different or not.

So here's my issue. I have the opportunity to pick up an AEM EMS brand new in the box for a really good price from a buddy of mine who got out of the supra game, but it's for an 87-88 (yellow plugs) ...my car's a 90 (grey plugs), so the plugs are different. Case and point I was considering...

I actually decided not to put the bomex on my car and I'm just going to run the stock bumper. The roads suck around here so it's less to worry about. If anybody's interested in it, let me know.

We had a 1jz that wouldn't start because the coolant temp sensor wasn't plugged in, so it very well could be.

...there's one with pistons/crank/rods sitting in the front seat of a white supra at pullapart off rutledge pike. I, personally, want nothing to do with a 1j, but I thought it might be of use to someone looking for a rebuildable block or something. I'm going to post this on SF, too, so...

Ah, I didn't think of that. That's probably what it is. ...and I didn't mean that they should bolt to the battery. I meant that's where they were coming from. Then again, my fuse box and battery were both relocated a long time ago, so I don't remember much of this.

Then it's the main power running from the battery to the fuse box. Apparently whoever the previous owner was decided that bolting them together was a good idea.

Those look like your ground wires. If that's the case, they should bolt to the body/frame somewhere. ...pretty much anywhere, actually, as long as it's metal. I'm pretty much that's what they are, but you may want to double check that.

I'm just saying, you're more than welcome to drop that thing off at my house after the tour. ...I'll, ummm, "look after it" for ya. ;-)
