This happened to my 99 Camry. The plug backed out over 60+k miles and shot out, putting a nice dent in my hood. I was able to fix it at the gas station I coasted in to and was on my way.
I'm thinking a lot of these were cars that were more valuable than $3500 - $4500 so the dealership claimed to be C4C'ing them for a sale, then turned around and sold them for more money than they would have gotten from the gov't.
It's the individuals fault for not selling their car private...
What? The check engine light should always come on when the car is not running but the key is in the run position. It's a simple way to check that the computer is getting power (or if your light might be bad).
The first digit is where the car is from. All Supras were built in Japan, so they start with a J.
edit: I found this after googling for 2 minutes.

Wow, I'm over $14,000 in my car over the past 6 years (including the cost of the car). A paintjob, proper headgasket + headbolts, exhaust, turbo, etc really adds up fast.
A wobble-joint and 36 inches of extensions is what I've always used. But I'm lucky, I have a 92 so I don't have the nuts on the back of the bolts. They thread right into the bellhousing.
