This happened to my 99 Camry. The plug backed out over 60+k miles and shot out, putting a nice dent in my hood. I was able to fix it at the gas station I coasted in to and was on my way.

I'm thinking a lot of these were cars that were more valuable than $3500 - $4500 so the dealership claimed to be C4C'ing them for a sale, then turned around and sold them for more money than they would have gotten from the gov't. It's the individuals fault for not selling their car private...

What? The check engine light should always come on when the car is not running but the key is in the run position. It's a simple way to check that the computer is getting power (or if your light might be bad).

I had a very similar problem when I forgot to reconnect my TPS after doing some work. Double-check that it's working properly.

Wow, I'm over $14,000 in my car over the past 6 years (including the cost of the car). A paintjob, proper headgasket + headbolts, exhaust, turbo, etc really adds up fast.

A wobble-joint and 36 inches of extensions is what I've always used. But I'm lucky, I have a 92 so I don't have the nuts on the back of the bolts. They thread right into the bellhousing.

How sure are you that your starter wire that you ran isn't grounding out? I don't know how you wired it up, so that's the first place I'd check.

I have TT wheels on my MK3, stock suspension, with 275 in the rear and 245 in the front. No problems whatsoever.

The 7M is easy, but you still generally make a mess when doing it because of the shitty location.

They turned that beautiful blue car into THAT? Ugh!
