    '67 Vespa emissions help

I haven't posted in forever, the supra has been running great ha. However, my buddy bought a 1967 vespa 150cc 2 stroke and we are having a hard time passing Az emissions. It failed on carbon monoxide barely, baseline is 5.0 and it read 5.5x while the hydro carbon was way under the baseline. I...

Removing beep when door is open

You are running the radio off the battery but are worried that a few gauge lights will kill your battery... ? If you are working on the car you should be pulling the negative battery cable anyways, get a shop radio ;) .

Looking for a very rare performance item!!!

That is pretty cool, it would be awesome to have just because, even if better gains could be had much easier.

Removing beep when door is open

I have always hated the door buzzers and have been tempted to remove them from all my vehicles but I always decided not. For me I have a routine when I go to work, I always liked to get into the car, put the key right into the ignition but not turn it on until I am in a "driving" position, I...

    Power steering crush washer?

True, with this sort of washer if I can get it at the dealer for under $5 I will be happy compared to trying to match one up for a $1.

    Power steering crush washer?

Go to the dealer for this sort of thing, they should have it on hand and you'll know it is the exact fit too rather than trying to match one up.

Check out what I found in a basement

The whole thing makes no sense to me. First OP says the owner refuses to sell to him because he can't afford it. OP claims to add parts to a car he does not own in the hopes of selling it to make a commission, why add parts to something you don't own and have no contract with the actual owner to...

    "Exhibition of *excel*eration" ticket question...

If you've had good luck with them by all means go for it. Just I'm not sure I would want to risk my future with a lawyer I've never spoke with before and who may not know my name in court. Then again I've never been ticketed for anything before so I would never use a lawyer pool service.

    "Exhibition of *excel*eration" ticket question...

I've herd bad experiences with those type of pre-paid lawyers. One guy had a setup and showed up in court to fight a simple ticket and the lawyer stood up in court and then didn't know his own clients name. The guy said the look on the face of the judge and the DA said it all and he knew he was...

Aluminum steering rack "Bushings"? (Lex sc300)

So, it's never ending ha. The steering rack bushings on the ole ladies 95 lexus sc300 are shot and need replacing. I've found a place that sells poly bushings but the vendor is a total joke and is hit or miss on receiving parts based on forum reviews. Lexus doesn't sell OEM bushings separately...

Osama Bin Laden is Dead (Discuss)

I'm not sure how this will effect my day to day life other than all the political garbage that will now come with it. Of course everything is already about how Obama sucks because of this, not sure how that even works out.

    PSN's little 'oops'...

I love how any discussion of a console turns into cheerleading for different platforms. I have a ps3 because the games I want are on it. I don't play online ever but I do like being able to go on once in a while if I feel the itch. Paying any amount for the online access for me is not going to...

Failing emissions and need help (sc300)

Just to put this to a happy ending. I replaced the 2 o2 sensors with OE sensors from rockauto for 88 bucks. Took it for emissions and it passed with flying colors. My NoX was down to .2 now.
