Then after that, check your timing with a timing light.
Oh and be sure to use a good oring/gasket when reinstalling the CPS, or it will leak oil on the manifold.
That first guide is for a 89+, I found that out the hard way cause I tried it on my 87 and some of the wires didnt match up.
Follow the guide below, after I fixed my mistake I went back and did the one below and they work correctly now.

Ya, I didnt go with the twist nuts. I used the butt connectors(always do).

A friend has already nearly burnt my car to the ground, so I really dont want to screw something up and end up with no supra.
I tried doing these foglight rewire mod on my 87, and I followed these guide in the link below.

The only problem is, they dont turn my foglights on, instead it makes my highbeams come on?
