    Quick wiring harness question

I have a wiring harness that should be from an '89 Turbo Supra. How could I verify that it's a turbo harness and not an N/A although I'm about 98% sure it is? Also, the bigger question is how can I tell whether the harness is from an automatic or a manual. I'm assuming there'd be an extra...

    Supra seatbelts

I was just curious if seatbelts from an '87 N/A would fit in an '89 Turbo. I would figure they're probably identical but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks in advance. Darrin

    Koyo Radiator Probs?

I was under the impression that these were direct fit, but apparently they aren't due to the issues I'm having trying to put one in. The bottom pins are probably 1/2"-1" off toward the passenger side (can't push it over, mainly A/C lines in the way and the battery area from what I can tell)...

    electronic speed sender?

I was just wondering if anybody knew of any electronic speed senders that would work with the W-58. I'm looking at getting a digital speedometer that is programmable and allows a signal from a universal speed sender of 1v and between 2,000-22,000 pulses/mile. I was just curious if anybody knew...

intermittent issues - trouble codes thrown

Over the past two weeks give or take, I've had an intermittent issue happen to me about 3x in my '87 Toyota Supra (has an '89 turbo motor, but is set up as an N/A right now.. long story there). Basically the car apparently runs extremely rich and stumbles badly for a few seconds usually and...

    engine trouble code list

I was just curious if there was an engine trouble code list on the site somewhere. I've been searching around and can't find one as of yet. I was also looking through the online TSRM but I'm not sure what section it's under and going page by page is kind of slow. I'd appreciate it if anyone...

    head gasket probs/opinions wanted

Basically head gasket went on the engine in my '87 Supra N/A. Bought it with a BHG (had a cracked block as well). Had an '89 engine dropped in, head gasket died on that about a year later. Anyway, when I first got the car, I bought a 2.0mm bead type HKS metal head gasket, ARP head bolts(yeah...

    ASIC VSV Question

So I have a little issue here... If you refer to http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52318 that will give a little background on the issue. Anyway, the ASIC VSV I have is shot. This is an '89 Turbo engine with the turbo off running most of the N/A parts at the moment. The Supra...

Few quick questions. Pictures included, dial-up users beware.

I didn't notice there was a matchmark on the actual cam gears. I thought you had to mark one yourself. Therefore I figured I would have to pull the bolt out to see the 3 holes so I knew how it was aligned. Thanks again, sorry for the misunderstanding. The thing I was saying with the starter...

Few quick questions. Pictures included, dial-up users beware.

Not the cams, actually pulling the bolt on the timing gears. Ripping that starter back out so I can jam the flywheel is a pain in the ass with how I'm working at the moment and alot of times the damn thing just slips out on me anyway (well can't remember on the timing gears but I know on the...

Few quick questions. Pictures included, dial-up users beware.

You mean the 3 little holes in the timing gear, where one is at like a 45 degree angle, one is at a like a 90 degree angle to the side and the last one is straight up? The only issue is that's how I originally had it, but due to what I read about the first cam lobes being pointed inward a hair...
