District manager for ATT National Retailer. Supra is a fun car for me and I always loved the mk3. Drove to highschool with a girl that had an auto non-turbo one and it was a blast. Sold my 2011 wrx that had way too much money in it, and picked up my 1990 jza70.

High School Social Studies Teacher and BJJ Coach
Heh, I was about to say, that is wholly inappropriate to be teaching to high schoolers, but then I google'd BJJ... Whew! :p

Gotta pay the bills some how.

This is true, I have a buddy who works(ed?) at the Pentagon in a similar field. It's interesting to see his opinions on things. Seeing folks like him in our government gives me at least a little hope that it isn't all shitheads running the place... Not implying you're a shithead, of course. :)

Thankfully I'm on the protect us, vs collect us team...I don't think I could do NSA collections ever and spy on Americans....it's already pushing it with my libertarian political views.

Of all the folks I meet at SIV every year, I'd say at least one in four is an engineer. Lots of military folks, as well as a pilot or two, couple doctors, etc... I think I'm in the wrong field haha.

Last time I was in Vegas was in '06. I'm probably overdue to head back. Perhaps 2018 is my year.

Heh, I still firmly believe that the majority of Americans are actually Libertarians at heart, they just have been tricked into thinking otherwise. What part of, "leave me alone to live my life how I see fit, and I'll do the same in return," doesn't resonate with people the world over?

No wonder Vonda fell for ya. ;)

I have similarly trained hands, I grew up playing videogames. Ladies love a geek haha.

Go figure, that was my first year at SILV. Have been back every year since, with the exception of 09, 11, 12, and 13. Should join the rest of the Red & White convoy, this past event we had, oh... at least 5 Canadian cars there. :)

Now,

Normal person.

Heh, who defines "normal" anymore? :p I can imagine all those experiences leave one with a particular sort of PTSD, or at the least a rather filthy feeling inside now and then, no?

There's only about 1200 of us in the entire world that's operational.

I'm not above the law anymore, so I just call it normal.

As far as experiences, nothing to share here.

That you ever considered yourself to be in the first place is a bit troubling... Suppose there have always been folks like that, it's just that it's more common knowledge these days I suppose.

Any regrets? Not looking for specifics, of course, I know you wouldn't or couldn't talk about them anyway, but in general?

Without any disrespectful intent, I just couldn't do it. Even without knowing any specifics, I know my conscience wouldn't allow me to work in any field so secretive, particularly for a government.

Fancy way of saying I'm both impressed and repulsed at the thought, I guess. :p
