There is a t3 garret turbo on Craigslist in me area for $325 and I am wondering if it would be a good fit for a 7m?

Here is the website.

http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchan...tp&Product_Code=TBN-TBO-013&Category_Code=TBN

These are the specs the guy put on the ad:
COMPRESSOR - .42 A/R, 46.5mm Inducer, 60mm Exducer, 60 Trim. Hose style inlets/outlets - 60mm Inlet, 50mm Outlet
CHRA - Oil cooled T3/T4 oil inlet/outlet flanges, 270* Journal Bearing.
TURBINE - A/R - .48, Inducer - 58mm, Exducer - 48mm, Trim - 70. Inlet - T3 flange, 45mm x 57mm, Outlet - 3 bolt, 55mm

Please only helpful input. Thanks

Right in the description on the link you put up it says that it's good for 250hp. Seeing as stock CT is good for more than that I'd say you're taking a step backwards.

250hp would be a good bump for a normally aspirated 1.4 - 2.0 4 cylinder, and i think thats the kind of engine that this t3 is probably geared towards.

Yeah, would be a good candidate for a Honda B series, maybe a Toyota 1ZZ/2ZZ or 4A-GE. There would be lots of potential customers for a small turbo.

Hey Dylan, if you are wanting an upgrade, check out Alberts turbo rebuild thread. He can upgrade the ct26 several ways. That's what I'm considering doing.
