Yea, mostly my driver's side window does this...when going down it will groan and click, and sometimes will squeaky really loudly...it really grabs the attention of people around the car...:biglaugh:. Also, there are like a million vertical scratches in the tint on the window, almost to the point where you can't see out of it. It has a lot of play as well, you can move the window quite a bit when the door's open, and if the window is down, it will rattle like crazy when you close it.

What can I do about this?

New felt guides and tighten and adjust the nylon guides.... It's not a bad job, just take your time and make sure the window seals properly when it's up.

I can't think of anything other than loose guides and wornout felt on the two inner steel guide arms... The two metal arms with the felt wrapping them are what seem to hold the window in place the most when it's down all the way. They adjust the in and out (or side to side). When the felt wears out the underlying metal can really chew up your tint and/or glass.

The nylon guides control the stop point (not all of them of course) and the angle (front to back) of the window.

^^^^ At least that's what I remember from fixing both of mine quite a while ago.
