Will a 2jzge torque converter mate up to 7mgte a340?

I know there are some differences between these transmissions. I'm in the process of doing a NA-T setup and am looking at mating up my 7mgte A340E to the 2jzge flexplate/engine. I have a 2jzge A340 bellhousing, but I am wondering if the pump/splines and everything are going to be the same between the transmissions. This will probably be a temporary deal, I'm just wondering if it will fit and run?

Anybody have any experience?
