I hate electric work!! I sure the hell's can't figure out why,.. My Idiot lights and heater don't work after, taking the gauge cluster out. I checked all the fuses's, good. Except for the heater fuse,which,.. I need to learn how to reset the circut breaker.
I pulled the drivers seat, the steering wheel, air bag, ( got the wheel recovered) heater, cluster and center console.
I did shorted out the gauge cluster circut board,but I replaced the fuse, and the circut board,.. still doesn't work.
The idiot lights should come on when I turn the key. The A.B.S., check engine, lamp failure, brake, and the seat belt doesn't come on at all.
I'm thinking same problem should fix most the problems. Is it possible that all the lights need to be L.E.D.'S??
Do any of the things that I took out need to be installed before these lights work?? Example: The turn signals won't work until the flasher is plugged in, could something similar with the idiot lights? Thanks!!!
