oh so the whole ordering process is done through email with the guy that runs the site?

I'm guessing so. vvv

PayPal is preferred, to "Paypal@FineMotoring.com". Credit cards via Paypal are accepted. Money orders, cashier's checks and personal checks are also welcome. Contact me by e-mail at MaxLumens@FineMotoring.com and I'll send you details on how to place your order. When you order, please specify how many bulbs of each type you require. For instance, many cars could use two 9011 high beams and two 9012 low beams. You can call them 9005 and 9006 if you like, or just high or low; I confirm each order by e-mail before shipping. You never have to worry about ordering the wrong bulbs, and I always combine shipping to guarantee the lowest postage.

Well, he takes money through paypal. If it isn't legit for some reason, you can start a case with paypal and get the money back.

On the other hand, his site has been around a while now. I've seen it for some time.

yeah so i decided against the HIRs cus it just hit me that its just one filament.
i've decided i'd go with Narva® Rangepower+50® H4 bulbs. and the housings from that rally site.
guess i just flipped this thread around from my originial question.

-what's an easy way to convert the harness to H4s? i'm not buying the whole 70 dollar harness at this time.

-should i go with e-codes or DOTs?

The Hella housings are designed for an H4 bulb.

How does the filament placement of the 9005 compare to the H4?

Just get the Hella H4 bulbs.
