also, a good picture of the back of the engine bay would be helpful for the rest of us to see if there is something odd or out of the ordinary on you car.

Here, I took a couple quick shots of mine:
http://www.fadingworld.com/Supra/CoolantHoses/

It's not the easiest to make out, but the pics are huge and if you compare them to the EPC you'll see how it's "supposed" to go together.

As for capping the line, personally, I'd run to the parts store and buy a proper cap... redoing it later may not be the worst thing, but it's not most accessible part of the coolant system.

no, well yes but its not a find ;)

I actually just took the two different EPC pages and superimposed them together.

BTW, dont go by the numbers as some have been erased and other are not in there correct spot. (I should go back and erase all of them)

Gotcha, I'm saving that one... It'll probably come in handy again in the future.

The coolant hose in question is not supposed to be capped, it goes across the motor to the drivers side firewall. It was very clear once i looked again in the daylight. I see how it supposed to be, but on mine there is no hose running under the motor to the drivers side, only a hose where it originally was capped to go over there

We've been trying to explain the difference in routing between USDM and JDM... Route it how ever you like. Just make sure you get it right.

So you are saying that your metal pipe does not curve around the back of your motor? If so then I think that I know why, IIRC its a Cressida pipe assembly. I wish that I still had the cressida pipe that I use to have to verfiy it, but again IIRC the cressida pipe is what you are describing.
