When my turbo starts to boost my car cuts out........any ideas???

Maybe its none of the above, maybe its the headgasket. had it checked? before i tore my motor apart, driving around i could gear the car down, get the RPMs way high and it sounded, and acted normal, but as soon as it even touched boost, the cut out would begin... it was horrible!

mischief7m <--- he's dead on IMO.

I have also had a fuel pump or two die on me. I could drive the car while cruising but couldn't get on it at all. If you turn the car on and jump the diagnose connector to turn the FP on you should hear plenty of fuel going through the return line. A good working FP should be quiet itself and the fuel return should be very audible. If it's the other way around, then there's your problem.

well i had bought bosch plugs a month before i cleaned the afm and ruined it so i never thought to check them after i replaced the afm i took it to the shop they said boch plugs are the worst plugs in the world so i bought some really cheap atolites and my car runs perfect
