Ok fellas, just got done with searching the various forums and still curious of other people's experience. I'd like to run a 5mm spacer in front but I'd like to know ahead of time if this will necessitate a longer stud. I'm using tuner-style acorn seat lugs. The reason i ask is spacers alone are relatively inexpensive, but I'd hate to order them to find out that I should have just bought the Eibach kit which comes with studs. On the other hand, I don't want so much extra stud that I need to run open lugs. I have a feeling I'm going to end up with the Eibach spacer kit plus open lugs, but just wondering if someone had a quick answer without me having to go downstairs and measure how much stud I'm working with.

Oh yeah, and spacer naysayers need not apply. This is for a specific purpose. Some wheels are not available with high pad in a given offset to clear big brakes. But if you get a low-pad +40 offset wheel and use a 5mm spacer, VOILA, you have a +35 offset high-pad wheel.

I haven't run them on my Supra, but when I had my Civic I had them and they worked great for their intended purpose. Widened the track just a tad and they sure as hell resolved the rubbing issues I had without 'em.

Cool, thanks for the info guys. I did end up trying it, and while it did look exactly like I was hoping, I didn't get enough revolutions around the stud for me to feel comfortable with it... sooo... I guess when I get around to doing the BBK, I'll throw in some studs, and just live with it for now.
