Beneath my car
hey all.

I was wondering if anyone has run 20mm rear bolt on spacers?
do the studs stick out of the end of the spacers ?
can you put a wheel on without it hitting the studs?
Does one have to trim the ends of the studs to make it work?

Thanks in advance.

You don't have to trim the studs, and on most wheels, there are spaces between lug holes for the extended lugs to go into.

I replied to your PM, but with my MKIV TT rear wheels and a Project Kics 15mm bolt on spacer, I had to trim the stock studs to fit. It will depend on the wheel you use.

And the size spacers you use, the thicker the spacer the less the old studs will stick out, I had 20 and 25 mm spacers before, they stuck out slightly maybe 5 mm to 10mm at most, you should be fine if there's slots in the back of the wheel
