i recently bought a Spec clutch kit for my engine swap (GE to GTE). right now i just assembled the Spec friction disc and i go to put the pressure plate on the GE flywheel dowel pins and the threads on the flywheel dont line up, whichever way i put the pressure plate same problem. so im womdering if i ordered the wrong clutch kit or since i never had the GTE flywheel could that be the problem?.. whats the difference??? i could really use some input, thanks

One flywheel is for a R154 the other is for W58
W58 clutch is push, R154 is pull.

The flywheel goes with the transmission/clutch
The crank bolts go with the engine so 7M GE/GTE have same crank

ok i get that. but why would the threads and dowel pins not be in the same pattern as the clutch pressure plate?? could the company have sent me the wrong clutch kit? which i doubt because the reciept says 87-92 supra. im going to keep playing around with it see if i can get it on..
