A kid in my school asked me how much horsepower my car has and I responded "about 200 to the wheels stock" and he goes "hah thats it...my lightning has 380" "yes but you can't drive, you're lightning is in the shop and you will never use that power" ":shrug: your cars are gay"
I honestly laughed for 5 minutes at the kid, his dad bought him the truck and he doesn't know a thing about cars, just numbers.

i didnt really want it at the time(it was my dad's car, engine was rebuilt and i just turned 16), so driving the supra was just sort of conditional... then as you all know it turns into a sickness...it'll probably be awhile before i actually buy my own car. whenever i get paid theres always either something to buy for the supra or bills to pay. so here i am on my 3rd engine and no plans to start spending anytime soon. If I watched my money and stopped spending I could afford a new car probably in the 20-25k range with my job, but i dont see that happening. only car i'd buy is a MK4 to use as a beater lol. but my parents wont ever let that fly. they think im obsessed enough as it is with one supra
a MK4 beater...haha if you say so. When I'm out of college I'll be looking in the 20-25 area like you, lately I've been thinking of a MK4 or an EVO. Of course my MK3 will be faster and nicer than any MK4 I will be willing to pay for, and the EVO 10 coming out seems pretty nice, I also have a thing for 2500 cummins diesels and powerstrokes.
I'd say getting the car and taking care of it, working on it, and driving it right brings just as much pride Joe. You're right my statement can't be held to every case. There are kids that buy cars and dont change the oil for a year and wonder why their car seized, and there are also kids who get cars and treat them right.

i still think 7m mk4 would bring the most spite. its my first project if i win the lotto. regardless of cost, id build it to as high of HP as i could and go kill 2j mk4s with it :biglaugh:
