About to install Intake, BOV, Boost Controller, Hard IC pipes, Boost Guage. Only mod i have currently is gutted cat and cat back. Can i run just under fuel cut fine with these mods any suggestions before i turn up boost if even a tad? Rebuilt engine shouldn't have a problem with handling power ;). anyone ever had problems with these mods(i know there basic but never installed any before) and should i install one at a time and test them out? at 12 psi should i expect 270hp?

you DP and turbo elbow is gonna be your restrictions.

do like what you said, install one at a time and drive around before installing the next part just so you know if there is a problem with the install and part.

BTW, you mention a rebuilt motor? what are the specs? pics?

I never got around to making a build thread(maybe i still should) so here are some photos of my build. Machine work done by Womacks Machine Shop in Baton Rouge, LA and most of building work by Pro Performance in Baton Rouge,LA. Honed out, ROSS pistons, Ported Head, balanced block, Cometic MHG. Everything else is mostly stock. Has gutted cat and cat back to Flowmaster.

your motor looks rock solid with the internals you used. but as mentioned before, you major restriction is going to be your exhaust system. the stock exhaust and downpipe are a major restriction. so even if you up the boost, you wont see great results.
the mods you are putting on wont really yield much of a power increase except for the boost control (that is if you turn up the boost).
one of the first mods i did was put on a downpipe and exhaust and saw huge gains from that alone.
the next steps you should take are upgrading your fuel system and exhaust... so you can then safely up the boost. only then will you notice big gains.
its unlikely that you will see 270hp with what you are currently installing... even at 12psi

Do you know if that DP with integrated elbow would bolt up to stock cat by chance? i would assume i need to have a 3" cat and catback? if thats the case is there some way i can adapt it to the stock cat till i have the rest 3"??
