Hi guys, I'm trying to get some info here. I have a 1jz automatic that came out of a mkIII. I want to run more than 14psi was and I was told that I could buy an upgraded ecu but there kind of hard to come by. I was also told that a standalone cannot work because if i do i will not get the trans to work wondering if you guys have any info.

Samson, some engine managements will work with automatic. The Stinger EMS won't, but the AEM will. I don't know of anyone running the AEM with the 1jz though.

I ran 17psi with my stock ecu with no problems though on a single turbo. Good luck.
