what kind of outlet is this, not a vband....

ok ive dug and dug for what kind of flange is the outlet of my turbo... from what ive gathered it is a "euro" type, but i cant find one anywhere....

it is exactly like the flange on this turbo, wich they call a vband, but i dont think it is

It looks like one of those turbos you need to buy a v-band flange for and have it welded on..... Its a no-flange right now.....

you get the vband flange,get it pressed and welded in and you are good to go. ive seen these around more and more but not sure why

That rear housing is a diesel design that uses a down pipe that bolts to the exhaust manifold or the exhaust housing of the turbo. It uses a gasket of sorts to seal the DP to the turbo.

The best "fix" is as stated - get a DP flange and have it welded in.

poo..... any idea where to get the type used for this, also found one like it in this thread....http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4798&highlight=band+downpipe but they just welded too....

from what ive been told byt my father this clamp type is very good, but he cant find any either....

guess i may have to weld more crap.........

i may be wrong and someone will let me know but i'm pretty sure that last pics in the last thread you posted a link to is a V-band

the first 3 are of a v band, but the bryon guy has the same type flange as mine.. just trying to find one is the problem...

wouldnt be able to sell me a whole downpipe with the vband would you? i can weld the flange on turbo just cant even find a tight 90* for a decent price.
