So i got my 7mgte and it came with a spare turbo that was dissassembled and put into a box.. i didnt have a use for it.. so i didnt really look at it much. until now lol
its supposed to be a stock ct26... everything appeared normal.. then i look at the compressor fins.. im like wait a minute.. this doesnt look right.. i compared next to stock.. totally different!
maybe someone was going to upgrade this ct26?
how do i find out what size/trim this is? will i be able to use it?

btw i put it into the housing and it doesnt fit..but the stock fins and it fits.. looks like it needs to be machined (the housing) to fit.. thats what's done when ct26 is upgraded right?

here's pics

Not really sure what your question is....

Last pic is a Comp wheel and a Turbine wheel side by side.

Like IJ said, the used one is the compressor wheel on the intake side, and the new looking wheel is the turbine for the exhaust side.

comp wheel looks like junk with bent fins but the turbine wheel "might" be usable. either way if your going to rebuild a ct send it to someone who knows what they are doing so it can be balanced properly.
