Ok just saw the commercial for the new mustang and they have it running around in a wherehouse with water all over the ground. I mean my Grandpas Buick Century can do burn outs in water whats the point?
just makin it look like its something special to sell more cars. some people believe anything they see on tv. luckily i dont have TV, and thus am immune... :hsugh:
Cars look shiny and clean when theyre wet
Its all to attract buyers that think it looks cool, not people who would buy a car for its performance, we know better.
wel if you noticed, just about every sport car commercial has water somewhere, even the old supra ads in japan had a black mk3 taking a wet corner, it just adds to the sexiness
water in the commercial I understand but trying to show the car has power cause it can spin the wheels IN WATER I dont cause that takes no power. Like I said My Grandfathers Buick Century can do great burnouts on a wet road.
burnouts on water = no smoke = full view of the car with no obstructions
burnouts on dry surface = smokey as hell, tire shards sticking to the rear of the car = car looks dirty, obnoxious, rude, out of control..
