What else would i need for this VPC

Running 440cc injectors. I believe he would say if it had the 550cc chip upgrade. Would this be better than a lexus afm? How exactly doe this work and can i use this with a SAFCII? Tried searching "hks vpc" with no results, and they are under 4 word minimum.

Don't the VPC for the 7m come standard with 440cc chip in it... guess i should ask the guy. Also, Don't i need a wiring harness? HKS doesn't list one on their web site for the 86-92 supra.

They came with either the 440 or 550 chip. The wiring harness is not needed. You can hard-wire it in.

I dont need the main harness, temp sensor or any other sensors? I just want to make sure i dont buy something i cant use, or have to buy more stuff for.

You need a LOT more than just the head unit..........

You need either a pig-tail harness,
so that you can direct wire it to your ECU harnes,
or a plug & play harness that HKS made.
(there were 2 of them, for early & late Supra 7Ms)

Then you need the sensor harness, and both sensors,
Temp (still available from HKS for about $65), and.......
The pressure sensor, HKS # 49940-6110,
which they don't carry any longer.
But different people still have them, although they are pricey.

You might try this guy on eBay,
he always has HKS electronics for sale:

I have seen him also offer the 7M sets,
and he builds the direct wire harnesses,
with the resistors already wired in.
And he also has both 440 & 550 ROMs.

By the way, early & late (87-88 vs 89-92)
take completely different resistors.......
