What does each plug go to?

I pulled my dash and the wiring harness that clips to it. There's a yellow connector that is part of the wiring to a little photocell looking thing right at the glovebox. Can anyone tell me what they are? The photocell thing is 3/8" round and looks like a small camera. The yellow connector wiring is taped with the wiring for the photocell as well.

It looks like the Solar Sensor is plugged into the A/C Amp. This was dangling down when I popped the glovebox out. There's a yellow connector on the same group of wires.
I'm trying to eliminate as much wiring as I can (unnecessary stuff) such as the hazard switch, stock stereo wiring, cruise control wiring and switch, etc. I 'm pretty much only stuck at that little 7-8 pin yellow connector. I keep going out to the car but can't seem to find what I unplugged it from.

I'm not keeping A/C. I'm putting the 7mge and Supra dash into my minitruck. Heater, A/C, blower, PS, all gone. Onboard computer room, ya know? I'm trying right now to trace the wiring. It appears a few of the wires go to the furthest driver's side plug on the back of the gauge cluster. The purple wire goes to the fog light switch. I just can't find a diagram anywhere.
