i came i across this on my local craigslist and i just wanted to get input before i comit to buy it. thanks in advance. all im interested in is the 1jz and the turbo set up.



1992 Toyota 1JZ engine completely rebuilt w/ R154 trans
0 miles on motor since rebuild
consists: all parts are brand new
1JZ complete engine gasket set
Front and Rear main seals
Serpentine belt and brand new tensioner
Timing belt and brand new hydraulic tensioner
1JZ standard ring set
Bell housing bolt set
coil pack connector set
engine swap brackets and motor mounts for late 89-92 mk3
Stainless braided power streering hose
thermostat
throttle position sensor
map sensor
ACL race bearing set
ARP Head studs
ARP Main studs
ARP rod bolt set
Stainless brainded clutch hose for R154
Clutch master cylinder
Clutch Slave cylinder
NGK platinum spark plugs
Polyurethane trans mount
water pump
All parts that were necessary to rebuild engine have been put into motor, all other parts are set aside
Have the stock 1JZ twin turbos, they need a rebuild kit in order to reuse
Turbo setup:
Precision SC61 turbo t4 flange
Precision 600hp inter-cooler
Tial V60 Waste-gate
Tial Blow-off valve
Listing price is for motor/trans and associated parts only.
Will sell everything i have for the car for $2,500. Ive got over $4,000 into all of this, just ready to get out of the game.

My personally opinion if I saw this ad -

I would rather the re-build had 5k miles on it, versus 0 miles... I have no experience with the 1JZ, so will not comment, but unless a motor came with a warranty, not sure I would buy anyone's motor with 0 miles on it... who knows if they did anything right...

Then again for the price if you planned on it anyway, pull the motor back down and make sure all was done correctly, as the price may be worth it anyway...
