Could be turbo seals. You can't just replace them. The unit would have to be rebuilt.

Some times turbo seals smoke at idle, some times they don't. Some times they only show up under boost.

Check to make sure you have your pcv system hooked up correctly and also check to make sure:

-The lower boost hose isn't full of oil
-Your air filter is new and of high quality
-You're not running mounds of oil pressure (above 50psi)
-You don't have a crushed or plugged exhaust

my air filter is almost brand new, my oil pressure sensor is not hooked up yet lol, my exhuast is almost brand new. so all i have to check is the turbines and oil in the lower IC. the video explains it all

yeah I watched the video. don't think it's your turbos.

You were idling there for a while. If it was your turbo seals, you'd be puffing smoke like crazy just idling there.

ok guys sorry to semi jack your thread but its not off the topic and it might save me from posting a new thread. Since you might be needing new valve seals I will ask this on yours and my behalf. I know Viton valve seals are of choice. Does anyone know who in particular makes them? I have called many parts places and not a one can tell me if the manufacturer they carry are rubber, silicone or viton. I have read that the toyota oem seals are viton and I might end up having to go that route. The thing is I only need 2. I decided to polish my head and was going to break everything down so I wouldnt have to worry about media flying everywhere. But it appears that by removing these brand new seals that it boogered up the inside rubber of the seal. Thanks for any help and sorry about the hijack

I don't know about supersuprakid, and I don't mean to hijack...but my car smokes a bit at idle about a minute after a cold start...

Once you start driving it, the smoke pretty much goes away, and on warm starts, you can still smell a little oil burning, but there isn't any coming from the exhaust.
