I really think this needs to be seen. i was browsing ebay looking at all the rediculious "burnt tip" and "carbon fiber" mufflers and i came across this. i think it was a mistake and someone let it go.

presenting the OBX Twin Loop.

Back in the day when I was looking into buying a Civic, IIRC, Mugen's twin loop design such as the one above actually out performed other catbacks. This was for the civic. The mugen one created for the civic costs a lot of money but gains are minimal compared to others. Do a google search and I'm sure you can find a review or two on the mugen one for civics...

Also, from what I recall, this thing sounds pretty good on a civic.. way better than your typical fart can.

I know you guys think civics are silly, but mugen exhausts are pretty incredible since they have engineering power from honda engineers. Their headers and exhaust systems were ahead of it's time back in the late 80's and early 90's. It's their header and exhaust designs that are now used by everyone today. The Burns stainless headers were close copies of the mugen headers.

I agree Mugen parts are well made parts, but they are hella expensive and for me the HP per dollar ratio just doesn't add up. Its expensive to get a Honda, or most 4cyl. cars to go fast reliably and safely. Thats why I moved up to a real car!

its basically like have 2 mufflers on the car.. im sure both are straight through so not to cut down on flow, but with a dual muffler / twin pass setup you will reduce the noise.. they did it in one muffler and maked it look jdm......................... so its cool...................................... i guess..

While it might look odd, it's actually a very good design and performs and (more importantly) sounds well. When it's installed on the car, you can't see the loop, and it looks quite nice too.
