Sounds kind of like a belt squeaking but I'm pretty sure it isn't a belt. The sound is a fairly constant squeal. The weird thing is it's vehicle speed related and not engine rev/load related. I can set still and rev the engine all day and it won't squeak, but once i go over about 15-20 mph the squeal is happening. With the car in neutral and coasting or while engaged in gear it doesnt effect the pitch/volume/intensity. Also I don't think its a wheel bearing because it sounds like it coming from the front and near the center. No squeaks/squeals during turning.
i was thinking fan clutch because of the extra stress that would be placed on that part while moving (wind resistance) if it was bad/going bad.
Just wanted some input from you guys since i have only owned this car for a couple weeks and don't know much about the quirks or the Supra.
Thanks,
Chris
