I get an egr code (no egr) and after I pull the efi fuse to reset the ecu it can take HOURS before the cel comes back on. Your tps might be throwing the code at 3000rpm but not before. Any codes will be stored in the computer until they are cleared (even if you fix the proble).

New news! The CEL light wasn't coming on for a day or so and I went ahead and checked the TPS connections and cleared the codes by pulling the EFI fuse. I was driving the car and "re-teaching" it. After I hit about 3.5k-4k RPM the light came back on.:( I went home and checked the codes and came up w/ the knock sensor again. I looked throught the EFI section of my TSRM and it didn't say where the sensor is nor how to fix it. Any help w/ the location of the knock sensor?

I did double check every thing I touched during the oil change execpt the knock sensors because I didn't know where they were. I will check them tonight or sunday. The reason I am so "helpless" is the fact that the first cars wiring was shoddy at best. For all I know the CEL didn't even work so CEL NEVER came on. The second car was just a parts car so I never drove it. This is the best working car I have owned so I'm encountering alot of new problems that were either: not there in my previous Supra or I had no way of knowing until something catastrophic happend.
