weird noise ...... help?

I get a weird noise when my car is in gear
i have an 89 turbo auto
the sound sounds like a rattling when the car is in L23D and reverse but not in netural or park....
the car is 110%stock

donno what it can be
havent lost any performance.....:1zhelp:
