So I had a problem with my clutch, it felt like it was slipping. Brand new Action 6 puck clutch btw. So I took it out of storage for the day, and put it on the hoist to have a look around, see what I could see. The only 2 things I could come up with, was there was alot of clutch dust inside the bellhousing, and the rubber boot on my slave cylinder was all bunched up at the the base, not stretched out to the end of the pushing rod that meets up with the clutch fork. (forgive my terminology, im trying to describe this the best i can)

So, I put the boot back to where it should be, and took and air hose and sprayed out the bellhousing the best I could. Now im noticing that when I shift hard into 4th, the car shutters a couple times before it picks up and goes. Does anyone have and insite to what could be causing this? I do have a 1 peice aluminum driveshaft, but i never noticed this before.

ya, I only had it happen to my twice. All the other gears feel pretty good, I mean second spins a little bit, and third gets a good hard chirp, but I dont really think im getting tire spin, or wheel hop, anything along those lines in 4th

Well, I just fixed my speedo, so I dont have a postive number for milage, but Im guessing its probably got atleast 1500 miles on it. I broke it in before I really started pushing it. The slave is brand new, and when I say brand new, I mean new 1500 miles ago. New flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, slave, clutch master, all done 1500 miles ago. With all the new parts, im looking to whats still old, and Im wondering if maybe my LSD is on the way out, as it hasnt been preforming as well as it used to. Thats no big deal though, Ive still got my KAAZ 2-way that I have yet to install. If this problem persists I will strap my camera in the back and get a video up in hopes someone eles will reconize what its doing.

Am I crazy for thinking the diff is on the way out?? The only diff I ever had go bad went bad in a matter of seconds, not days.

Oh ok... You said new so I was thinking like maybe 100miles.... Are you sure that the clutch pedal is adjusted with the right amount of free play?

You should have about an inch of free play, I think on my set up I have about 2 inches.

Sounds like you need to adjust yours a bit, one turn on the adjuster will make a about 1/4 in more free play.
