weekend project: interior color change

so i decided earlier today to start painting my interior this weekend(i was tired of looking at my black car with a blue interior)

anyway here are some pics of the progress so far tonight.

not to bad, black interior ftw!!! ive used that stuff on some small interior parts and it seemed to be pretty durable. i did put alot of coats on it though, i was worried it would get scratched and the old color would show through.


waiting for more progress pics.

I've used it too. If you prep the pieces well it's very durable. Even my arm rest held the abuse wonderfully.

Yes....Black car with blue interior is definately odd.

Looks much better!

dash
center console
a pillers
ebrake boot
front and rear carpet
front and rear seats
kick pannels
door sills.
steering wheel

the pictures dont even do it justice it looks soooo good! the 20 year old carpet looks like brand new carpet!
i cant wait to finish everything else up!

wow the seats turned out good. are you gonna do all the plastic pieces in the car too? are the seats and carpet stiff at all?

yes very flexible, once its dry it dosent come off on anything. it is a little stiff at first but once its a little used it returns to normal. and yes the seats turned out freakin awesome!
and yes i will be painting everything else.
