milky oil, oil in your coolant, exhaust/fuel smell in your radiator, bubbles in the radiator, constant "expulsion" of cooling fluid out of the overflow tank after a long drive or heat cycle, expanding/blowing out hoses, losing coolant and no traces of where its going, waterfall/gurgling behind the dash, white sweet smelling smoke coming out of the tail pipe at an almost constant rate, compression #'s with greater then a 10psi variance between cylinders.

yeah theres quite a big list.
All I have are the waterfall sounds. How soon before the end of my hg?

The water fall sound just means that there is air in your cooling system. Just because you hear a waterfall, doesn't mean that you necessarily have a BHG. There are a number of ways that the air could have gotten in there. Burp you system and make sure that you have the minimum amount of coolant in your over flow bottle.

Use figgies method to burp the system or use the method described here:

If the waterfall returns, and you have the correct level in the overflow bottle so air isn’t getting in, and you still think you may have a BHG, see here:

Remember a little knowledge goes a long way in diagnosing as well as correctly and effeciantly taking care of issues that arise.
