I had gotten in a boss 550 turbo and i was wondering if anyone knew the wastegate pressure on it. When i first put it on it would boost to about 1 bar and then after a few days it moved down to about half that to about .5 bar or so. Now it is very consistent and it holds that pressure. I just wonder why it fell off to half the original amount. My profec will adjust the boost back up and hold it with stability. I am just curious if anyone else has come across this and what i should do about it.

I've been working during their business hours the last few weeks and I haven't been able to do anything but leave emails that have gone unanswered. I hate email cause it often gets lost and redirected. I just thought I'd ask and see if anyone knew before I called them this week when I'll be working nights...argh.

If you turn in the arm on the end of the actuator so it is shorter in overall length you will get more boost. What this is doing is putting more tension on the waste gate door. SO it will need more boost to open it up. try 2 full turns and see if you get what you want.

Thank you sir, I won't be able to call SS till Wed now and this will help a lot. Puts my mind at ease. I actually don't mind it staying stable at 7...i have a boost controller....I just want to make sure it ain't broke. Of course since it holds 7-8 psi dead stable, I didn't think it was faulty. Just wanted a reference. Thank again.
