I know I've seen some pics of some of you other guys that have stripped interiors and have painted the interior floorboards. Just wondering, what you guys used, how many coats you put on, and what prepping you did before hand...And, if it smells like paint still....

TIA,

~Bryan

sound deadening paint ftw used that stuff in the rear when i stripped out the rear... acted as an insulator for both sound and heat. smell went away in a couple days

How thick is that, I guess since it's a paint it can't be that bad, trying to skimp on the wieght as much as possible. (I know it sounds ricer, but ask around, I'm not playing.) Also, who makes it?

Its not that heavy, i got a good coat all in the hatch and covered the back seat area as well with 1 gallon... i'd say about 6-8lbs wet/gallon or so? so prob like 3-5 lbs or so dry. 2 gallons should do the whole car. I'll look for the site I got it from and update you on it.

thats the site, its called e-dead v3. you can paint it on with a brush or roller... i found it easy to do with a brush Theres specs and a video on the site. Any more questions feel free to ask if youre interested, i did this about a year ago on my first supra. I still have a gallon sitting in my house ill probably use it on my current supra at some point when i get it on the road.

No problem just try to do it when its warm and not so humid.. itll dry better that way. And like the video says, do light coats, thick coats WILL crack and come off.
