w58 r154 driveshaft lengths

what is the difference between em?
I have an r154 and when I looked down my shifter hole and looks like the DS is not in all the way.
Is the w58 driveshaft shorter or longer?

The front shafts are different lengths for all trannys. So if you just did a swap you need a r154 front shaft.

I know that but Im wondering if the r154's driveshaft is longer than the w58 because if so then maybe the jackass who had the car before me got the wrong parts..
