VPC 2400 ohm resistor equivalent???

I hate to ask this, but I went to radioshack today, and they didnt have the 2400 ohm resistor(as required by the VPC/SAFC hardwire graph). Even on their website, they dont list the 2400 ohm. I'm assuming 2400 ohm would be the same as 2.4k ohms. whats the closest one I could use? I know the maftpro uses the 2.2k ohms, would that work with the VPC? Can someone point me to the right item? also radioshack has a third specification on their resistors, 1/2w ok?

2.4k, biggest one you can find at the place for safety.
