has anyone heard of any update on these? first batch seemed to have big problems on fitment? hows the new ones? i see someone had one for sale and it looks to have fit well....

I bought the one that was for sale. Fitment seems pretty good. has a small blem but no big deal. From what I hear though is that they arent making them for the mk3 anymore and the one I have is the last one that was available.

I thought I saw some cf hoods on ebay the other that claimed to be made by vis. I may be wrong but i thought it listed them as being vis hoods. They looked pretty decent too.

I recently bought one, as did tookwik4u on the forums, they didnt have the proper holes drilled in it, so the hood wouldnt even go down more than 1/4 of the way. After cutting the holes myself, the hood fit like complete shit and wasnt even close. Note that the holes I cut were for the metal hook thing on the hood hinges, to allow it to go up inside the hood. There wasnt a chance in personal error in the fitting, as the holes I drilled couldnt affect it. Both me and tookwik had huge problems with the hoods and had to end up returning them, which was another event in its own.
do not buy them... thats all I can say.
