Thanks for the offer but I just got off the phone with Exedy and they have the plate I need in stock and are overnighting it to me. Looks like I will be hitting the dyno on wendsday and leaving straight from the dyno to Vegas!

This is on track to be the Best SILV event of all time. You don't want to be sitting on the sidelines reading the results online!

There's still time to book those last minute flights or quit your job so you can make the drive (if your manager won't let you off).

I had my car all loaded on the trailer Saturday but blew a mufler bearing on the tow rig. The car then pissed its oil all out in simpathy of the trucks loss.

I just cant win I tell ya. :biglaugh:

No, I'm not going to Vegas.

Nothing wrong with my engine, just as little indentation in the head...lol I have most parts but no pump and I think that's what caused this lean spot so I am not chancing that again. Realistically, I could put the head back on now and run it but I don't do things like that. I am adding a new Weldon (2345A) pump which should be at my door this week, then doing a few other things I've been putting off.

Vegas:

I spoke with Dave, his clutch is done but he will be under vacuum most of the time and figures he may want to change the clutch when he gets to Vegas. Brad, is having high EGT temps and is watching them. I may meet up with them later as I have already been driving and am in Oregon with my wife.

PS: Have a great time people and make many vids and take gobs of pics! :)
